Eriocaulon nepalense Prescott ex Bong.
EOL Text
"Leaves to 7 x 0.6 cm, oblong, obtuse, glabrous. Peduncles many, to 23 cm high; limb of 2-3 bristle at the mouth of sheath; head 0.5 x 0.5 cm, globose; involucral bracts 2.5 x 1.5 mm, obovate, obtuse, glabrous, brown; floral bracts 3 x 1.5 mm, obovate, acuminate at apex, base cuneate, black, thinly hairy. Female sepals 3, boat shaped, black, one narrow; petals 3, hyaline, hairy. Male sepals 3, united at base, black, hairy at apex; petals subequal, glabrous; anthers black. Appendages 2 on each transverse wall of the seeds."
